Joel Friant’s Obsession with Quality

Joel Friant entered the world of entrepreneurial business in 1995 with the opening of his first restaurant. Joel had always been interested in owning his own business, and he also had a passion for spicy and flavorful exotic cuisines. He decided to combine the two and he opened a brand new restaurant concept that merged fast food with traditional Thai dining.

 

Joel’s passion for spice was further explored when he traveled the world sampling the different types of peppers that grow in different areas. In Jamaica, Joel discovered the Scotch Bonnet, a variant of the habanero chili pepper.

 

Joel had long been a fan of habaneros. He first tasted the spicy chill when he was in high school and a friend shared on with him. Joel wanted to expand further into the business world, so he decided to use the habanero peppers and his keen business sense to create a new product.

 

Joel developed a recipe that allowed three habanero peppers to be dried and flaked without removing any of their appealing heat and taste. Joel packaged the resulting pepper flakes and named it the Original Habanero Shaker. He sold the product in grocery stores and other food shops throughout the state of Washington.

 

In 2012 Joel decided to expand the Original Habanero Shaker brand. He had spent a few years studying the business tactics of large online retailers and had developed a marketing plan. He launched a website for the Original Habanero Shaker and soon had orders coming in from around the globe.

 

Joel has used his success to help others. He has combined his own business methods with the methods of other successful people to create instructions on how to achieve success. Joel teaches his methods by writing articles and by presenting before an audience through web seminars.
